This is a view of the hills, vineyards and Serralunga d'Alba village in Langhe area of Piedmont, Northern Italy. A medieval castle with its beautiful shape extending upwards dominates the village of Serralunga d'Alba. This area is famous for its wines, cheeses, and truffles. This image was taken at the end of November, and you can see a lot of signs of late autumn. The snow covered Alps mountains are in the background.
